At Internal Medicine & Family Physicians, we go beyond managing symptoms. Our Allergy Clinic provides comprehensive in-office allergy testing and immunotherapy to help you finally understand and treat the root causes of your allergic reactions. Our certified allergy specialist from United Allergy Services is available Monday through Friday, 8 am to 5 pm, right here in our clinic.
Allergies impact quality of life. From constant sneezing and congestion to food sensitivities that limit what you can enjoy. Our clinic is designed to diagnose and treat environmental allergies, and diagnose food allergies efficiently and conveniently, so you don’t need specialist referrals or multiple appointments.
With in-house testing and personalized immunotherapy options, we help patients:
Identify specific triggers for symptoms
Choose the right long-term treatment pathway
Reduce reliance on medications for symptom control
Improve breathing, comfort, and daily function

Find out what’s triggering your respiratory symptoms. Our testing evaluates reactions to up to 54 lo, including tree, grass, and weed pollen, pet dander, mold, dust mites, and more. Results appear quickly so you and your provider can start planning treatment.

Food allergies and intolerances can go undetected for years. We screen for sensitivities to common foods like milk, soy, wheat, eggs, peanuts, tree nuts, fish, and shellfish. Knowing what triggers your symptoms gives you clarity, peace of mind, and a roadmap for intervention.

Allergy shots remain the most proven way to modify the allergic response rather than just mask symptoms. SCIT builds your immune tolerance over time through controlled introduction of allergens. Most insurance plans cover allergy testing and SCIT after any deductible and copay.

If injections aren’t ideal for you, we offer Allergy Allay Drops®, a convenient needle-free form of immunotherapy. Customized based on your allergy test, these drops are taken under the tongue to gradually retrain your immune system and reduce symptom severity over the long term.
Your allergy visit is tailored but straightforward:
1. Comprehensive testing with a skin scratch method that identifies reactions in about 15 minutes.
2. Results review and personalized recommendations with our allergy specialist.
3. Discussion of treatment options, including immunotherapy protocols that fit your lifestyle.
4. Long-term plan for reducing symptoms and improving quality of life.
Insurance coverage varies by plan. Our team will verify benefits before testing so you know what to expect.
No insurance referral is needed; however, patients do need a referral from their IMP office provider.
Allergy testing is quick and minimally invasive, with results available during your visit.
Skin scratch testing is generally well tolerated.
You may need to stop certain medications before testing, as they can interfere with results. Our team will provide clear instructions ahead of your appointment so testing is accurate and safe.
Immunotherapy is a long-term treatment designed to retrain your immune system. Most patients follow a treatment plan lasting three to five years, with symptom improvement often starting much earlier. After 3 years of protocol, patients have an 80% more likely chance of remaining allergen free for the next 10-12 years.
